FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method to assemble add-on decorative parts with main furniture components, in which add-on parts are glued to the surface of main components, besides, the glue is applied along the perimetre of add-on parts in a narrow strip onto their edges, parts are tightly pressed with coupled surfaces to each other and kept under pressure until glue hardens, at the same time add-on parts are made by means of their moulding from a polymer material, besides, in process of moulding a ledge is formed on the coupled surface of the add-on part in the form of a line along the entire length of the part or in the form of a closed figure, which follows the contour of this part in a simplified manner, the ledge is given rectangular, triangular or oval cross section, and on the surface of the main part there are slots, which in their configuration and cross section correspond to ledges on the add-on part, the glue onto edges of the add-on part is applied on a site between the edge of the coupled surface and the ledge, besides, the glue is applied onto the inner surface of the slot on the surface of the main part, afterwards the parts are assembled, inserting ledges of the main part into slots of the main part, assembled parts are pressed to each other and maintained under load until glue fully hardens.
EFFECT: higher quality and assembly efficiency.
