FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in process of insulation charging the device records three values of current passing through insulation in equal time intervals. For this purpose the device consisting of a test voltage source, reference resistor, charging switch, test object, discharging switch, discharge resistor, output leads to which the test object is connected, scale voltage converter, voltage divider, voltmeter, tracking and storage device, two summing amplifiers is equipped additionally with two tracking and storage devices, three low-voltage monitoring keys, two summing amplifiers, three voltage dividers, a multiplier unit, logarithmation unit, squaring unit and four-way switch. The device allows determination of a steady-state value of leak current, maximum value of absorption current, time constant and a steady-state value of insulation resistance. These parameters are used for quality rating of electric insulation.
EFFECT: cutting time for measurement of a steady-state value of leak current, insulation resistance, maximum value of absorption current and electric charge time constant.
