FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: two differentiators are introduced into a device, as well as two comparators and two RS-triggers, two double-inlet elements AND, a gate multivibrator and a tracking and storage device, with the help of which the insulation resistance value is fixed, which is equal to the half of the established value. The substance of the invention consists in the fact that the device tracks variation of insulation resistance in process of its measurement and fixes the value of resistance, at which the dependence of resistance on time crosses the bend point. The established value of insulation resistance is determined as the doubled value of insulation resistance, in which the bend point is observed.
EFFECT: reduced time of measurement of an established value of insulation resistance.
