FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Compression piston rear end has a cavity to receive the rod and several outer flats for wrench. Said flats are exposed at piston front and rear ends and shifted in angular direction relative to each other. Said flats are 2 mm deep at piston diameter smaller than 50 mm and 2.5 mm at piston diameter. Pairs of flats may be shifted axially.
EFFECT: increased transverse area, length and are of contact between piston and compression chamber, higher quality of casts.
