SUBSTANCE: invention refers to physiology and medicine, namely to rehabilitation treatment. Variation pulsometry values are evaluated including mode amplitude (MA), variation excursion (VE), tension index of the regulatory systems (TI) and heart rate spectral values: total wave power (TP), low-frequency wave power (LF), very low-frequency wave power (VLF), normal high-frequency wave power index (HFnorm), normal low-frequency wave power index (LFnorm), vagosympathetic index (LF/HF) at the initial visit. A prediction coefficient of the progressing physical component of quality of life is calculated by original formula. If the coefficient value is 2.03 and less, prescribing the speleoclimatotherapy for the purpose of correction of the physical component of quality of life appears to be inadequate. If the coefficient falls within the range of 2.04 to 14.62, the unreliable positive progression of the physical component of quality of life is likely. If the coefficient is more than 14.63, the highly effective correction of the physical component of quality of life is predicted when prescribing the speleoclimatotherapy.

EFFECT: method enables predicting the effectiveness of the course of the speleoclimatotherapy for the purpose of increasing the physical component of quality of life individually for each patient.
