SUBSTANCE: invention refers to preventive medicine and can be used if it is necessary to prescribe pharmacotherapy of metabolic disorders in populations of indigenous peoples of the North. Cardiorhythmogram is pre-recorded and parameters of heart rhythm variability are determined. Index of high risk of cardiometabolic diseases (IHRCD) is calculated by original calculation formula. If the IHRCD > 19.5, the need to prescribe the pharmacotherapy is determined.

EFFECT: method enables determining the need to prescribe pharmacotherapy in metabolic disorders in populations of indigenous peoples of the North regardless of sex and age.
