FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of solid from fluids with the help electric field induced by high voltage, particularly, to isolation of dispersed particles from dielectric fluids. Proposed device comprises housing with inlet and discharge pipes and baffles to make contaminants collection chamber there inside, precipitation electrodes arranged inside said chamber and to be connected to source of U2 voltage, ionising electrode arranged inside the housing and to be connected to source of U1 voltage. Inlet pipe accommodates fluid analyser to measure breakdown voltage U0. Accelerating electrode to be connected to source of U2 voltage is arranged between ionising electrode and precipitation electrode. Note here that voltages are set to satisfy the equation U1=0.95U0 and U2≤U1.
EFFECT: higher quality of cleaning, simplified design and higher reliability.
