FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises assembling symmetric stacks with internal arrangement of steel billets, their heating and rolling to required thickness. Uniform distribution of ductility of layers over sheet and plate thickness and prevention of crimp formation are ensured by adding chilling of aluminium components of aforesaid stack to level ductility of layers at rolling temperature, definite difference in plastic characteristics of steel and aluminium. Note here that stack rolling and heating temperatures and relationship of plastic characteristics of stack components at rolling temperature are strictly regulated.
EFFECT: higher surface quality of laminar sheets and plates and efficiency of their production.
