FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used for hard-surfacing of billets at equal-channel angular forming device. Said device comprises female die with intersecting intake, mid and discharge channels. Said channels feature geometrically similar cross-sections. Intake and discharge channels are parallel. Mid channel features semicircular shape. Continuation of intake channel wall opposite the forming direction passes the centre of smaller-radius circle inscribed mid channel wall.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of hard-surfacing, lower labour input.
