SUBSTANCE: method includes loading of cast iron and scrap into converter, oxygen blasting of molten metal supplied to the surface of molten bath by oxygen lance according to blasting scheme, and lime supply. For blasting scheme of oxygen lance altitude of the lance position above the surface of molten bath is specified, and also absolute duration of partial oxygen quantity gradual blast is specified depending on silicon content in used cast iron and on required slagging of silicon and iron.
EFFECT: low content of phosphorus in steel upon high reliability of process.
