FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture and can be used in production of fodders. Plant material for ensiling is harvested on field using at least one harvesting vehicle. Material is transported to a silo and compacted by a compacting device, especially compacting vehicle. Efficiency of compaction of compacting device is compared with efficiency harvesting of at least one harvesting vehicle. Efficiency of harvesting of at least one harvesting vehicle is adjusted in accordance with compacting efficiency of compacting device. Adjustment of compacting efficiency comprises adjustment of power drive motor of harvesting vehicle.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides efficient silage fodders of high quality.
