FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to development of a fodder composition by means of a properly programmed computer. The method for development of a fodder composition includes analysis of the effect of ingredients change on the chemical and/or biological properties of the fodder; analysis of the effect of ingredients change on the fodder ingredients cost; the step of formation of indication of forecast production expenditures using a forecast model ensuring dependence between the input information and production expenditures, the input information represented by information concerning the ingredients as well as inclusive of information related to spectral data obtained from at least one of the ingredient; the step of determination of the fodder composition desirable for production based on at least the analysed effect of ingredients change on the ingredients properties and cost and indication of forecast production expenditures.
EFFECT: using invention will make it possible to develop a fodder for animals at an optimal cost.
