FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing carbon sorbent. Proposed method comprises heating at the rate of 10-15°C/min of chemically processed vegetable stock to 300-400°C. Millet seed coats are used as vegetable stock. Stock is chemically treated by aqueous solution of ammonium tetrafluoroborate simultaneously with carbonisation and holding for 5 minutes.
EFFECT: simplified and accelerated process.
