SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of obtaining sorbents from agricultural wastes. Claimed is method of obtaining carbon sorbent from sunflower husk. Husk is subjected to drying at temperature 115-125°C for 4-6 hours, carbonisation at temperature 400-500°C for 35-45 minutes and cooling to 55-65°C.

EFFECT: invention provides high output of sorbent and improvement of its quality.
