FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of abrasive instruments from white electrocorundum on ceramic bonds with structure numbers 12-22. An abrasive mass for manufacturing a highly structured abrasive instrument includes an abrasive agent, a ceramic bond, gluing and wetting additives, finely disperse powder-like iron oxide and filler. The abrasive agent consists of a mixture of abrasive grains of two different grits, with a volume content of the abrasive grains of the smaller grit with sizes within the range of 60-160 mcm constituting 5-100% of the volume content of the abrasive grain of the larger grit, the size of which constitutes 160-500 mcm. The filler represents a mixture of hollow spherical particles of low-melting glass and hollow spherical particles of alumosilicate with the size in the range from 85 to 560 mcm in the quantity of 25-100% of the volume content of the abrasive agent with the greatest grit.
EFFECT: homogeneous volume hardness of the abrasive instrument, its minimally possible deformation, as well as an increased mechanical strength is provided.
