FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, specifically to production of substituted 1,3-dioxacycloalkanes containing a gem-dichlorocyclopropyl substitute, which can be used as intermediate products in synthesis of solvents, inhibitors, fuel additives, oils and polymers in industry. The method involves attaching and embedding dichlorocarbenes into molecules of substituted 1,3-dioxacycloalkanes in the presence of triethylbenzylammonium chloride as a catalyst, at temperature of 40-50°C; the reaction with 2-(1'-propenyl)-1,3-dioxane is carried out with the following ratio of components, wt %: triethylbenzylammonium chloride 0.1; 2-(1'-propenyl)-1,3-dioxolane 12.9; chloroform 87; the reaction with 2-(1'-ethenyl-2'-phenyl)-1,3-dioxolane is carried out with the following ratio of components, wt%: triethylbenzylammonium chloride 0.5; 2-(1'-ethylene-2'-phenyl)-1,3-dioxolane 21.5; chloroform 78; the reaction with 2-(1-propenyl)-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane is carried out with the following ratio of components, wt %: triethylbenzylammonium chloride 0.5; 2-(1-propenyl)-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane 25; chloroform 74.5.
