SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, specifically to a method of producing 2-(2,2-dichloro-1-phenylcyclopropyl)-1,3-dioxolane by reacting [2,2-dichloro-1-(dibutoxymethyl)cyclopropyl] benzene with ethylene glycol (CH2OH)2 at temperature 120°C for 8 hours in the presence of an anion exchange catalyst AV-17, with the following ratio of components, wt%: [2,2-dichloro-1-(dibutoxymethyl)cyclopropyl] benzene 43; ethylene glycol 43; AV-17 4.
EFFECT: method of obtaining a new compound with good output, which can be used in medicine as bioactive preparations.
