FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The device for sterilisation of rectangular cardboard/plastic layered packages in an autoclave. Positioned inside the autoclave are devices for setting the packages into rotary motion round the rotation axis. Positioned in parallel row close to each other, the packages are located on portable bottoms. Portable bottoms with packages loaded thereon are located over each other and are fixed in a mutual position. For acceptance of packages a rectangular framework is installed containing tray-shaped insert sheets located over each other and intended for acceptance of packages arranged in parallel rows close to each other, standing on their lateral sides. The inset sheets are designed so that to ensure an air gap with width equal to 0.5-10 mm between the insert sheet bottom and the surfaces of the packages positioned on the underlying inset sheet.
EFFECT: invention enables sterilisation of a great number of packages without deformations.
