FIELD: packaging.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of packaging and can be used for placement, storage and transportation of fragile items, mainly eggs. The egg package contains a cardboard box made with holes in the bottom, and a plate with hollow protrusions molded in it, dividing the volume of the box into cells for eggs. The substance of the solution lies in the fact that the plate is placed outside the box on the side of its bottom, while the protrusions are made wedge-shaped, passed through the holes inside the box and fixed from falling out by means of thickenings formed at the base of each protrusion.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the reliability of the package by strengthening the bottom of the box and to exclude the possibility of eggs falling out while maintaining the possibility of stacking the packages.
