FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics. Tendons of biceps, semitendinous, semimembranous muscles are exposed and cut off through lateral and medial posterior-lateral cuts. Exposed tendons are passed towards each other through formed transverse channel in supracondylar region of femur. Through additional cut on anterior hip surface in projection of quadriceps tendon the latter one is mobilised. Longitudinal saw-cut is formed in patella. Tendon of quadriceps is cut into two portions - posterior, which is toned up with corrugating suture, and anterior one, which is submerged into longitudinal saw-cut of patella and fixed to it with intraosseous sutures. Wounds are tightly sewn layer-by-layer. Gypsum bandage is applied in medial physiological position from toe ends to gluteal fold for 6 weeks.

EFFECT: method prevents reduction of ankle extension function in the course of time.
