FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics. At the first stage transposition of biceps and semitendinous muscles of the thigh is carried out through subdermal channels and medial and lateral muscle partitions respectively of tendons of semitendinous and biceps muscles of the thigh with fixing them on both sides to a tendon of rectus muscle of the thigh. Then a plaster bandage is put on with a built-in distraction device, and after elimination of the contracture a fixing plaster bandage is put on with a cut-out hole along the anterior surface of the thigh for electrical stimulation of the quadriceps muscle.
EFFECT: method enables increasing the amplitude of active and passive movements in the knee joint.
