FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire fighting equipment for automatic extinguishing of oil products in reservoirs. The system of fire fighting in vertical reservoirs comprises a foam generator installed on a support of a telescopic lift outside the reservoir, and is connected with a sleeve to reservoirs containing water and a foaming agent and joined with compressed air balloons. The telescopic lift slides and moves into the working position with the help of compressed air from balloons. The foam generator is made in the form of a generator of a polydisperse high-expansion foam, comprises a vessel, in the form of a prismatic shell, distributing and guiding devices. At one side there is a foaming agent distributor attached to the vessel and arranged in the form of a pipeline with flanges. Two additional pipelines are installed perpendicularly to an inlet pipeline. The foaming agent distributor is circumscribed into the inner contour of the vessel, and inner cavities of inlet and additional pipelines are connected to each other. Branches are connected to inner cavities of inlet and additional pipelines: shortened, medium and long, ending with nozzles aligned towards a guiding meshed device arranged in the form of generating grids. Each nozzle comprises a vessel with an auger and a nozzle. The auger is pressed into the vessel and represents a single-turn helical groove made of solid materials: tungsten carbide, ruby, sapphire.

EFFECT: increased reliability of oil product fire extinguishing without participation of a human being.
