FIELD: fire-fighting means.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in automatic fire suppression systems. Polydisperse high capacity fog foam generator comprises a housing, a distributing and guiding devices. The housing is made in the form of a prismatic shell; a distributor of foam solution is attached to one side of the housing made in the form of at least one inlet pipe with supporting and network flanges. Perpendicular to the inlet pipe, at least two additional pipes with caps at both ends are placed horizontally and rigidly connected with it. To the internal cavities of the input and additional pipelines the offsets are connected by the housing shell and parallel to its axis: shorter, medium and long, ending with nozzles oriented to guiding mesh device. The device consists of three coaxial, coaxially located pyramidal shells in the form of generating grids: the outer, middle and inner. Each of the shells contains a wire frame in the form of a square and the side ribs of the truncated pyramid surface. The outer shell is attached to the housing with a large base. The generating grids in the form of truncated pyramid surfaces are arranged so that all their vertices lie on the axis coinciding with the axis of the housing. Each nozzle consists of a housing within which there are two axisymmetric throttling holes: cylindrical and conical.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of spraying fire-extinguishing liquid solution of foaming agent.
