FIELD: nuclear chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used for making heat accumulators. Heat-accumulating composition contains lithium fluoride in amount of 25.3÷27.3 wt.%, sodium fluoride 37.7÷38.7 wt.% and sodium chloride 35.0÷36.0 wt.%. Heat-accumulating composition is an alloy having a melting point of 602-606 °C and specific enthalpy of fusion 766–771.4 J/g.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase temperature of phase transition and specific enthalpy of melting of heat-accumulating material.
