SUBSTANCE: optical cartridge has a housing made from optically transparent material with an inner cavity; one end of the housing is provided with an input opening into the inner cavity, which is divided into an input zone and an optical zone, linked with each other. The height of the cross-section of the inner cavity in the optical zone is less than the height of the cross-section of the cavity in the input zone; the height of the inner cavity of the optical and input zones is selected from the condition of the manifestation of a capillary effect. The input zone of the inner cavity is fitted with at least one insert made from porous material with a reagent, and the housing has at least one opening for linking the optical zone of the inner cavity with the outside.
