FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and may be used for analysing of thin layers, particularly cell monolayers. A device for producing the layers containing a cell monolayer for analysis has a two-dimensional matrix of analytical chambers (45) and a branched configuration of inlet ports (25) connected to each analytical chamber in the matrix to enable the analytical chambers to fill in the concurrent mode. Each of the analytical chambers has a substantially planar shape having a height smaller than that of the inlet ports in order to generate layers of the fluid containing the cells when the chambers are filled with a fluid sample. A total area of each of the analytical chambers varies from 100 to 2000 mm² and/or a height of the analytical chambers makes from 1 and 10 mcm, whereas the inlet ports are 10-200 mcm deep and 50-1000 mcm wide. A group of inventions also refers to a method for producing the above device, a method for producing fluid layers containing a cell monolayer and a method for analysing the same with using the above device, as well as to an analytical system.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables the automated analysis of the fluid layer samples containing cell monolayers in a cartridge.
