SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method and apparatus for providing a service guide (SG) in a mobile broadcasting system, having a terminal for receiving a first SG, for acquiring reception information on a second SG from the first SG, if a service fragment list from the first SG includes information on at least one second SG different from the first SG, and for receiving the second SG based on the acquired reception information.
EFFECT: efficient provision of services and enabling reception of additional information on a basic SG or another independent SG, which uses the basic SG in a mobile broadcasting system.
