FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, and namely to hard solder on iron-chromium basis with excellent wetting characteristic on material based on stainless steel; with that, hard solder forms a soldered joint with high strength and good corrosion resistance. Powder of hard solder on iron-chromium basis for soldering of materials on the basis of stainless steel contains the following, wt %: chrome between 11 and 35, nickel between 0 and 30, copper between 2 and 20, silicon between 2 and 6, phosphorus between 4 and 8, manganese between 0 and 10 and at least iron 20. Solder is used for soldering of heat exchangers or catalytic converters.
EFFECT: improvement of solder properties.
