FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for reinforcing rod strapping. Proposed machine comprises means to feed wire from reel arranged to run in machine housing, reel brake and reel control device to brake reel by said brake device after feeding of definite length of wire. Invention covers design characteristics of reel brake and those of rod strapping machine.
EFFECT: improved braking, power savings.
