FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of pellet powder for small arms. The method involves stripping ethyl acetate vapour from pellet powder elements located in a dispersion phase in a reactor, feeding a heat carrier into the reactor jacket and boiling the mixture in the reactor in developed bubble boiling conditions, condensing ethyl acetate vapour in a cooler and receiving the condensed ethyl acetate in a tank linked to the atmosphere through a reflux condenser. Ethyl acetate vapour from the reactor enters the top part of the tubular space of the vertically mounted cooler through partial pressure difference between the reactor and the cooler.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain pellet powder in a reactor with given physical-chemical and ballistic characteristics, and also reduces loss of ethyl acetate when producing the powder.
