FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of obtaining spherical gunpowders for small arms. Method of obtaining spherical gunpowder includes obtaining gunpowder varnish in reactor, its dispersion to spherical particles, dehydration and distillation of ethylacetate from spherical gunpowder with following ablution, sorting and drying, water-gunpowder suspension from pressure vessel is supplied by sector supplier on wet two-stage sorting into internal screw part of revolving drum, installed at angle 1°- 5° with respect to horizontal axis of gunpowder movement. Meshes, with size No 0.10; 0.15; 0.20; 0.40; 0.56; 0.63 and 0.70, ensuring obtaining specified fractional composition of gunpowder depending on its purpose, are placed on the surface of screw part of drum. From above drum is irrigated by water under pressure 1-2 kgf/cm2 through centrifugal jets.
EFFECT: invention ensures separation of obtained in reactor spherical gunpowder in wet sorting by strictly specified sizes of gunpowder elements, which ensure stable ballistic characteristics in specified cartridge.
