FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to polycarbonates with improved rheological properties, as well as moulded articles made using said polycarbonates. Said polycarbonates contain one or more structures of formulae:

, , , , where the phenyl rings can be mono- or disubstituted with C1-C8-alkyl, halogen and X denotes a single bond, C1-C6-alkylene, C2-C5-alkylidene or C5-C6-cycloalkylidene, which can be substituted with C1-C6-alkyl. The polycarbonate also contains 0.1-2 wt % linear and cyclic oligomers, where the linear oligomers have formulae (V)-(IX), given in claim 1, and the cyclic oligomers have formula , in which n varies from 2 to 6 and Z is a residue of formula: , in which R1 and R2 independently denote hydrogen or C1-C8-alkyl.

EFFECT: obtaining polycarbonates with improved rheological properties.
