FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves pre-heating of initial raw material up to 270-330°C, mixing of initial raw material with recirculated agent in a tank so that secondary raw material is obtained; heating of secondary raw material up to the temperature of 455-470°C and its supply to a coking chamber to perform delayed coking; with that, delayed coking is performed during 6-10 hours; besides, coking is performed in three coking chambers with alternating raw material supply in them.
EFFECT: increasing volatile matters in the obtained coking additive; obtaining coking additive of more homogeneous quality, as well as reducing coking of lower part of a rectifying chamber.
