FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: source raw material is heated in tubular furnace 1 to temperature 270-330°C and is supplied into mixing reservoir 2 wherein it is mixed with re-circulator producing secondary raw material. Produced secondary raw material is heated in the tubular furnace to temperature 455-470°C and is supplied to coking chamber 5. An antifoaming agent is supplied to coking chamber 5 3-5 hours before completion of coking.
EFFECT: increased content of volatile substances in coke and raised efficiency of installation.
