FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: vane with ledge is made, ledge parameters allowing vane attachment to disc by friction welding. Process stock is made on the vane to retain it in tooling during welding. Stock geometry is pre-simulated to meet the requirement of vane retention in linear friction welding without plastic strain of said stock. Stock thrust surfaces over which vane is retained in said welding are inclined in direction of vane chord to vane vertical axis and diverge toward welded cross-section. Vane is arranged in tooling with clearance. Tooling locating surfaces are similarly inclined to its vertical axis. Vane is fixed in welding machine tooling in direction of vane oscillation for performing linear friction welding.
EFFECT: high quality of welding.
