FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in preparing test specimen, clamping in instrument clips, applying impact effects to simulate conditions of overcoat wearing and detecting migration of lint-feathers mix. Note here that said specimen is arranged so that thread joint is located at center along said specimen. Said specimen is first tucked in lower fixed clip and than in upper clip. Then, horizontal impacts and vertical spring impacts are applied thereto. Then, the specimen is dry cleaned or washed and dried. Specimen external appearance is registered in frontal and lateral projections to calculate relative factors of inner and through migration. Invention covers also the device to this end.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of estimation, expanded process performances.
