FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for highly sensitive detection of chloramphenicol using a piezoquartz immunosensor which is based on detecting changes in oscillation frequency of the sensor due to change in the weight of a coating, which involves recovery of a receptor coating for subsequent determination, enabling repeated use of the sensor, where the surface of the piezoquartz sensor is coated with a receptor coating based on a chloramphenicol-protein conjugate (soya bean trypsin inhibitor); a fixed amount of antibodies with respect to the chloramphenicol is added to the sample for 5-10 minutes at 20°C until formation of an immunocomplex, fed into an injection cell, followed by determining change in oscillation frequency of the sensor when the chloramphenicol-protein conjugate interacts with antibodies that are not bound to chloramphenicol; the analytical response of the sensor is inversely proportional to concentration of chloramphenicol in the analysed solution; concentration is determined from a calibration curve; the receptor coating is recovered by passing 0.04 mM potassium thiocyanate solution over the surface of the electrode of the sensor.
EFFECT: method enables to determine content of chloramphenicol in a food product.
