FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: in the field of radiations with dimensions of a test object they specify functional dependencies of the ratio of the exposition dose of gamma radiation to neutron fluence, and the neutron fluence reduced to one neutron leaving the reactor core, on the length of the object, thickness and quantity of radiation converters at the chosen version of their placement relative to the reactor core and the test object. Further with account of produced data and calculated parameters they select thickness and quantity of converters, and duration of object radiation is calculated, afterwards the object is exposed to appropriate radiation.
EFFECT: simultaneous reproduction of specified values of parameters of gamma-neutron radiation in a wider range.
