FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method for charging a capacitive electric energy accumulator from a three-phase AC source, for example a transformer, is based on limitation of charging current of the source and its rectification and consists in phase-by-phase limitation of its currents with current limiting and dosing capacitors and summation of rectified currents in a rectifier; with that, energy channelling ways are additionally created at least to two of its current limiting and dosing capacitors in the form of a constant current constituent of the above source. Also, two versions of implementation of the method are proposed.

EFFECT: increasing charging rate of capacitive electric energy storages and increasing the charging voltage by two times.
