FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. On pushing out rod surgical suturing instrument contains drive head, which can be moved from one side of suturing instrument onto another side without obligatory re-installation of suturing instrument in operation field. Suturing instrument can contain pushing out rod, case, which has first side and second side. Drive head can be made with possibility of rotation between first position, in which drive head can be moved along first side of case, and second position, in which drive head can be moved along second side of case. As an alternative, surgical suturing instrument can contain, at least, one drive head, which can be functionally brought into and out of gear with pushing out rod for selected application of drive heads.
EFFECT: improvement of instrument construction.
