SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment and can be used for tissue cutting and suturing. A surgical stapling apparatus comprises a first clamping element, a second clamping element and a cutter. At least in one version of the invention, the apparatus may comprise a case that extends above and/or around the cutter at least partially. In different versions, the case may cover the cutter at least partially if the first and second clamping elements are detached from each other, but allows the cutter advancing in relation to the first and second clamping elements when in use.
EFFECT: structural improvement.
