SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Growing prosthesis contains replacer of joint, prosthesis rod, rod fixing component and element with corresponding drive, provided for elongation of growing prosthesis. For elongation of growing prosthesis provided is guide screw, located in rod fixing element. Drive of guide screw is integrated into joint replacer. Connected with guide screw component in form of screw with threaded element is inserted into opening of rod fixing element. Threaded element is connected with geometrical locking with screw and serves for fixation of guide screw relative to rod fixing element. Application of claimed growing prosthesis is suggested in medical provision of treatment of bone tumours in little children and teenagers, who are still growing. Application of claimed growing prosthesis is suggested in medical provision of treatment of adult patients with congenital, disease or accident-induced different length of legs.

EFFECT: inventions ensure creation of growing prosthesis, which is not base on principle of bone callus traction and has reduced length and reduced prosthesis diameter, for it to be simpler in application for children and teenagers and for people of small height.
