SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Medical device for implantation in hip joint comprises at least one artificial surface of hip joint. Hip joint comprises a cotyloid cavity, which is part of hip bone, and femoral head, which is part of femur. Medical device can be inserted through hole in hip bone on side opposite to cotyloid cavity, with abdominal side of hip bone. Medical device can be inserted in hole of at least one of: area of abdominal cavity, area between peritoneum and pelvic bone, area between pelvic bone and surrounding tissue, pelvic region and inguinal region. Medical device comprises an orthopedic part which is at least as artificial surface of cotyloid cavity, and supporting element. Prosthetic part and/or bone seal are made to be placed in hole in hip bone. Supporting element is connected with orthopaedic part and/or bone seal and can be connected with pelvic bone and to transfer load from orthopaedic or bone seals to hip bone, when it is implanted. Pelvic bone has inner periosteum and outer periosteum with a solid scleral bone compared to spongy bone, located between internal and external periosteum, and supporting elements of medical device can be found in contact with at least one of outer side of inner periosteum, outer side of external periosteum, inner periosteum on its inner part and outer periosteum on its inner part.
