SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fluorinated elastic copolymer with cross-linkability independent of molecular weight, a method for production thereof and an article made from cross-linked rubber. The fluorinated elastic copolymer has iodine atoms, bromine atoms or both iodine and bromine atoms at the ends of its molecules and has repeating units (a) based on tetrafluoroethylene, repeating units (b) based on a fluorinated monomer, having one polymerisable unsaturated bond (under the condition that it is not tetrafluoroethylene) and repeating units (c) based on a fluorinated monomer, having at least two polymerisable unsaturated bonds. Molar ratio of repeating units (a) to repeating units (b), (a)/(b) ranges from 40/60 to 90/10 and the fraction of repeating units (c) of the total amount of repeating units (a) and repeating units (b) ranges from 0.01 to 1 mol %.

EFFECT: obtaining a fluorinated elastic copolymer with high cross-linkability independent of its molecular weight and articles made from such a copolymer by cross-linking, having improved physical and mechanical properties.
