FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to thermal pyrolysis of hydrocarbon stock and can be used in hydrocarbon processing industry. Invention is referred to procedure for hydrocarbon stock pyrolysis that includes generation of high-temperature heat medium flow by burning in combustion chamber of stoichiometric fuel and oxygen mixture diluted by superheated water steam, mixing of heat medium flow and hydrocarbon stock in the mixer, pyrolysis of raw material in the reactor and subsequent quenching of reaction products. Gaseous or liquid hydrocarbon stock mixed preliminary with water steam is injected to mixing area in jets so that jets collide with each other at the mixer axis, at that time of jets mixing with subsonic flow of heat medium is equal to 0.05-0.2 ms; thereafter raw material is subjected to pyrolysis at parameters providing maximum output of the target products: pressure of 0.1-1 MPa, temperature of 1200-1500 K, stay period of raw material in pyrolysis area is 5-100 ms.
EFFECT: increasing output of the target pyrolysis products.
