FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: liquid level measuring device includes an electroacoustic transducer with a membrane in the housing, which is connected to an acoustic waveguide made in the form of a tube submerged into liquid phase, an electric circuit for generation of acoustic pulses and processing of received echo signals; with that, acoustic transducer is equipped with a resonator installed in the housing between two damping sleeves; resonator is made in the form of a tube of the same inner diameter as that of the waveguide; membrane is round metal and rigidly fixed on lower end of the resonator with a piezoelectric element installed on it, which is pressed from above with an elastic insert. To the electric circuit there introduced is a detector of extreme values and a zero level comparator, as well as a band-pass filter and a scale amplifier.

EFFECT: simpler structure of an electroacoustic transducer and lower measurement error of liquid level.
