FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: relay node and radio base station are connected through a radio channel; a mobile station is configured to perform handover between a state in which the radio channel is set up with the relay node for communication through the relay node and the radio base station and a state in which the radio channel is set up with the radio base station for communication through the radio base station. During handover, control signals used in the handover are transmitted and received through the radio channel between the relay node and the radio base station.
EFFECT: enabling handover when a mobile station is connected to relay nodes.
