SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a mobile communication system, wherein a relay node and a radio base station are connected through a radio link; the mobile station is configured to perform handover between a state in which a radio link with the relay node is set up in order to communicate through the relay node and the radio base station and a state in which a radio link with the radio base station is set up in order to communicate through the radio base station, and handover involves transmitting a data signal through the radio link between the relay node and the radio base station.
EFFECT: mobile station performing handover when there are connections with relay nodes.
