SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a mobile communication system in which a first relay node and a radio base station are connected via a radio link, a second relay node and a radio base station are connected via a radio link. In the system for a control signal used in a handover operation, the end points are an X2AP-layer functional module of the first relay node and an X2AP-layer functional module of the radio base station, as well as an X2AP-layer functional module of the second relay node and an X2AP-layer functional module of the radio base station.
EFFECT: facilitating handover of a mobile station in the presence of a connection with a relay node.
