SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mobile communication. A first relay node and a radio base station are connected through a radio link; a second relay node and the radio base station are connected through a radio link; a mobile station is configured to perform handover between a first state, in which a radio link is established with the first relay node, for communication through the first relay node and the radio base station, and a second state, in which a radio link is established with the second relay node, for communication through the second relay node and the radio base station. Control signals used in said handover operation are transmitted and received through the radio link between the first relay node and the radio base station and through the radio link between the second relay node and the radio base station.
EFFECT: facilitating handover of a mobile station in the presence of a connection with a relay node.
